Texas for Spring Break

Just got back last night from a week long trip to Texas for Spring Break. My husband's parents live there and it has been 3 years since me and the boys went. Way too long! We are gonna try and not let it be that long again. His parents live in the northern suburbs of Dallas TX but we spent most of our break about 4 hours west of there at a ranch. The boys loved scouting out wildlife and we saw a lot while we were there. We saw several turkeys, deer, hawks, one armadillo, one dead boar, and a scorpion that came way too close to Roman. Thank goodness Roman saw it and jumped back off the rock he was climbing on. We road in this golf cart around the ranch everyday and looked for animals, mainly wild boar but the only we saw was already dead on the way in. Back in the city, the boys went to see Tangled with their Pop while the boys Grammy and I had lunch and shopped at the place called Charming Charlie's. It was awesome! My new favorite spot to check out when visiting them :) We spent the weekend with mom before returning home last night. I always love spending time with my mom! Will try to do pics eventually...my camera cord is MIA.

Trip Out West

We spent from Christmas Day until New Year's Day in Arizona celebrating the holidays with Neal's side of the family. It was my second time to Arizona and the first time that Roman actually remembers going. The boys had a wonderful time on their Great Grandpa's land. One night we built a big bonfire! We also enjoyed a couple of days in San Diego and it was awesome! Even though the water was way too cold to get it, we still collected seashells from the beach and also got to sea a beach with seals swimming right on shore! We are all missing our vacation but I am happy to be refreshed and ready to dig in and do some reorganizing during this January.
